I'm half way through the video, and so far, I find Kim's story about her grind at work very inspiring, relatable and just downright real. And on the topic of people being negatively judgemental, wouldn't it be nice if we all were quick on understanding that we all have different circumstances in life, thus making comparing utterly pointless, draining and a waste of energy. Envy leads to crab mentality and making excuses. If we count our blessings, it would be clear enough for us to recognize, again, our circumstances are different.

I love all of your vids, from photo shoots, post-processing to photo-philosophy. I really enjoyed your "POV street photo series" but I think it would be interesting to see you tackle some photography genre that you don't mainly do, to see how you apply your experiences in those settings. Let's see you handle a concert or an event, or a photoshoot with some models. Let's see you having to go in and direct your scene :)

this is helpful for me, for someone who avoids editing like the plague, but then I remember watching your video essay saying I should take 28 pictures a day to hit 10,000 pictures in a year. and a picture isn't complete until the edit is applied, I might just suck it up and learn this thing, I know its good for me, why do you think I put it off for so long, maybe because I convince myself I like the pictures and the colours in camera better? or a preset is cheating in my mind, or is there a way to overcome this deliberate trend of mine to just avoid editing at all costs, maybe I should just learn to shoot film haha but editing is like my krptonite, so I dont know, maybe if I do this it would encourage me to be happy, thank you for inspiring me to be happy :)

If you are good enough people will come! It's not a lie!!! Please dont demotivate young photographers. I was there and did with this mindset. Moreover, I helped few people to do the same path, and it worked. It just takes more time than we think. People see everything, your attitude, quality of work, your passion, they value it and they talk about you. So yes, if you are good enough, you are nice to people and you have good communication skills - people will come to you.

It’s amazing how well we did without the Internet or cell phones! I feel lucky to have been successful before all of this madness begin! So much stress and social media and most of that is just really sad!

I been there once. Very beautiful...the only complaints is the castle lol It's all good and in its almost original form but it is so hard to climb as hell! I managed to get to the top of the castle and it made me realized they made it so the enemy's force would really struggle to reach the shogun at the top lol

I hope my next comment if you see this doesn't take away from my admiration and gratitude to you but when you called the mobula or the eagle ray a stingray it hurt ne a bit as a diver who sees them on a regular basis. Only half way in, but our kits are so similar! I am rocking the 70-200gm ii, 24-70 gmii & 16-35 gm ii with both the A1 & Aiii. Totally agree that the 24-70 is also my most used go to lens. Can legit do anything and everything 😝🚀

Excellent presentation. Very comprehensive and there is hardly any step that a serious learner could disagree. I am in photography as an amateur for the last 30 years. Now 73 years old and drawn to photography after 8 years of absence again primarily due to Monochrome camera introduced by Pentax K3 miii at affordable price. To me, photography is always about B&W. conversion from colour (that's what I had been doing) to B&W has no standing and no comparison.

Instructive content, although I am afraid I have to disagree with the statement that colour psychology is objective. I rather believe it to be more culture-based. The debate remains open though.
